Submit your questions for the FAQ here. Do I need an appointment? Yes. Unless you happen to run into me at an event where i have a booth set up for the purpose of piercing / cutting / branding / modifying anyone who walks by ... you absolutely MUST have an appointment with me to get any work done. Why will I pay more for the same piece of jewelry from you than I would at the mall? Most places have finally caught on to the idea that they should sell pretty good jewelry now. You'll find 316L jewelry even in the mall. What you will NOT find in the mall is a real piercer, who can tell you if the jewelry you are buying will fit your piercing, is safe for your piercing, and is smart for your piercing. These guys are salesmen, not that there's anything wrong with making a buck, but wouldn't you rather be SURE that what you are buying is safe, smart, and sized correctly for your body? Especially considering that body jewelry is NOT RETURNABLE, so if you buy the wrong thing, you're stuck with it. Not to mention the fact that we'll gladly change your jewelry for you, at no charge. I've stretched my ??? to about 4 inches now, can you get me a custom piece of jewelry to wear in it? Or ... I saw this picture in a magazine of this cool piece of jewelry. Can I order it from you? Yes. We have sources and resources for many types of custom body jewelry. I will, of course need measurements, and sketches or complete descriptions of what jewelry you want. Custom body jewelry is ONLY available if you pay IN ADVANCE for it, and it is not returnable, and non refundable. When I closed my last shop I had almost $1500 worth of special order items that were never picked up, and that won't be happening any more. I don't understand this whole tipping thing. Isn't my piercer making enough money already from the price of the piercing? Just like you tip your server in a restaurant, or your hairstylist ... you DO tip those people, don't you ... you should consider some kind of gratuity for your piercer if you feel they gave you service that warrants it. Your piercer works for a percentage of the sale. For every service they perform, they get a percentage and a percentage goes to the shop to keep the place open, and buy more stuff for you to come burn up your plastic on. So if your piercer did a good job, made you feel comfortable, offered you some good advice, show them that you appreciate it.
